This policy applies to all apps published by Pibardos LLC, including but not limited to X-Ray Scanner AI.
Collection and Use of Personal Information
We highly prioritize your privacy. Some of our apps may allow or require you to create an account and log in using a third-party authentication service such as Google or Apple. In these cases, we may collect basic information such as your name, email address, and user ID for the sole purpose of enabling app functionality (e.g., syncing your progress across devices or saving personal settings).
For apps that do not require authentication, no personal data is collected. You won’t need to provide your name, email address, or phone number.
We do not use third-party advertising services, and we do not use analytics tools that collect personally identifiable information.
Use of Firebase
Some of our apps use Firebase services provided by Google, including Firebase Authentication and Firebase Realtime Database or Firestore. Firebase helps us manage authentication, securely store user data, and enable app features such as cloud saves or personalized experiences.
Firebase may collect non-personally identifiable information (such as device information or crash reports) to help us improve app performance. All data handled by Firebase is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
Image and Face Data
X-Ray Scanner AI allows you to take or select photos to be transformed into simulated X-ray images. When you submit an image, the following occurs:
- What we collect: The app temporarily processes the image you provide, which may contain face or body data. No facial recognition, facial geometry mapping, or biometric identification is performed. The image is used solely to generate a stylized X-ray visual effect.
- Third-party processing: Your image is sent to OpenAI’s API via a secure server for image transformation. OpenAI processes the image solely to generate the X-ray effect and does not use it for training purposes. OpenAI’s data handling is governed by their API data usage policy (https://openai.com/enterprise-privacy/).
- Data retention: Images are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers or by our backend infrastructure. Once the transformed image is returned to your device, the original image is discarded from memory. We do not retain any copies.
- Data sharing: We do not sell, share, or distribute your images or any derived data to any parties beyond what is necessary for processing (OpenAI API). No face data is used for advertising, analytics, or user profiling.
- On-device storage: Processed X-ray images are only saved to your device’s photo library if you explicitly choose to save them.
- EXIF data: All metadata (location, device info) is stripped from images before processing.
In-App Purchases
Some of our apps offer in-app purchases managed through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. Payment processing is handled entirely by the respective platform. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information (such as credit card numbers). Purchase records may be managed through RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service, which processes only anonymized transaction data.
Data Storage
In apps that require authentication, limited personal information (such as your user ID and email address) may be securely stored in our Firebase database to support app functionality. We do not store passwords or sensitive data. Authentication is handled securely through the chosen provider (e.g., Google or Apple).
For apps that do not require login, we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers.
Security
We take the protection of your data seriously and use commercially acceptable methods to safeguard it. All communication with our servers (including Firebase and third-party APIs) is encrypted using HTTPS. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify users of any changes by posting an updated version on our website. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy indicates when the most recent changes were made.
